Wistrand frequently issues legal opinions, as part of the work performed in transactions as well as under separate instructions.
For many years, we have worked with derivatives and are familiar not only with plain vanilla interest and currency swaps but also with advanced products, such as credit derivatives. Wistrand is responsible for issuing and up-dating the ISDA netting opinion for Sweden. Naturally, we also advise on repos and securities lending.
