Wistrand has long dealt with all manner of legal issues concerning transport. We represent shipping companies, shipyards, carriers, forwarding agents, airlines, P/I clubs and other insurers. We provide a range of advice on all issues of maritime, aviation and transport law.
The firm is also able to advise on the financing of vessels including the drawing up and review of loan and security documentation.
Competition law has also come to play a more prominent role for shipping companies and forwarding agents. In this respect the group works closely with the firm's competition law group. |

FACTS |
The firm was founded in Gothenburg in 1915 and was named after the lawyer Folke Wistrand, one of the prominent figures in modern Swedish business law.
Wistrand set up offices in Stockholm and Malmö to meet the needs of a growing market. |
