Our specialists have long provided legal advice on a variety of marketing issues. These include the Marketing Act, the Lottery Act and the regulation of gaming as well as the Alcohol Act, the Tobacco Act and the regulation of the marketing of consumer credit and pharmaceuticals. We assist at various stages of the process with advice, drafting, negotiations, dispute resolution and contacts with authorities such as the consumer ombudsman. Our specialists have recently won cases in the Swedish Market Court against the consumer ombudsman. Wistrand's media group has worked with radio, TV and publishing houses and has gained an excellent understanding of this sector's needs. Standard contracts, special production and distribution agreements - be they for film, TV, music, books or computer games - are very familiar territory. IP rights and anti-trust legislation are often critical for media companies, which is why some members of the group also specialize in these areas. Our specialist team often lectures on IP rights and we maintain excellent relations with Stockholm University. |
