Are you our Startup Star 2012?

Apply now and get the chance to pitch your business idea to the jury and compete for a team of lawyers dedicated to assist you with legal advice during 2012*, as well as other great prices from our partners.

The winning team will be presented at our matchmaking event on March 22. Attending our event will be a mix of entrepreneurs, startups, investors, venture capitalists and business angels.

Wistrand Startup Star Mingle

Where: Wistrand Advokatbyrå, Regeringsgatan 65, Stockholm.
Drinks and snacks will be served.

Program: matchmaking mingle, inspirational speaches by Mai-Li Hammargren, VP and founder of Mutewatch, and Jonas Hombert, founder of Jaycut, speed consulting with lawyers from Wistrand, and, of course, presentation of the winner of Wistrand Startup Star 2012.

The event is free of charge. The number of seats is limited, first come, first serve will apply.

To compete, do as follows:

PART 1

How does your business idea solve a problem or fill a need? Illustrate this to the jury in any creative way you like, in the form of a photo, drawing etc.

PART 2

Shortly describe your business idea based on the "What-How-Who" as described below:

WHAT - Business Idea and Business Model
What is your fundamental idea? How does it create customer benefit? How will you earn money on the business idea?

HOW - How to take your Business Idea to the market
Which market are you aiming at, what is your target group and how will you present your product/services to them?

WHO - The team behind the Business Idea
Who are you and what are your strengths? How do each of you contribute to success?

• The jury will meet with the finalists during the period 12-16 March.
• Finalists will be contacted no later than March 9.
• Please provide names and contact information to all members of your team together with your application.

• Apply to the competition by - no later than February 27 - sending an e-mail to startupstar@wistrand.se. Do not forget to attach the file/files (file size maximum 50 MB) you want to submit together with your application.

- You own or have the right to use all intellectual property rights involved in the business idea, as well as the actual idea.

- You are a startup company or an early stage company (Natural persons cannot enter the competition).
 

- Any tax will be paid by the winner.

- Your company/business has to be registered for F-tax card ("F-skattsedel").
