    Wistrand recruits international M&A expert

Sascha Schaeferdiek’s move to Wistrand strengthens the firm’s position in M&A. Sascha comes to us from Grönberg, where he has been a partner since 2002.

Sascha takes up his position on 2 May and will bring outstanding skills in M&A and public procurement. He has particular expertise in advising companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland on cross-border transactions with Sweden. Sascha was trained in Germany and Sweden and worked from 1997-1999 at Mannheimer Swartling. Since then he has worked at Grönberg.

    - We are really glad to be able to welcome Sascha to the firm. He has worked with Swedish and International transactions for 20 years and as a result has a broad and exciting skill-set that will strengthen our already successful M&A team. Germany is one of Sweden’s most important trading partners, and together with Sascha we hope to be able to further strengthen our position in the M&A market for German investments into Sweden, says Fredrik Råsberg, Managing Partner at Wistrand.
