Wistrand has appointed three new partners in Göteborg with effect from 1 January 2013. These are environmental law specialist Tove Andersson, insolvency specialist Ann Schröder, and real estate specialist Lars Gahnström.
- We are really pleased to be able to welcome Tove, Ann and Lars as new partners at Wistrand. We have followed them during their development at the firm and their skills are greatly appreciated by both colleagues and clients, says Martin Wedén, Managing Partner at Wistrand’s Göteborg office.
It has been an eventful year at Wistrand. The firm has recruited a total of nine new external partners as well as a large number of new associates. It has also been a memorable year in terms of instructions, with the firm having handled the Saab bankruptcies amongst other things.
Tove Andersson, 33, has worked at Wistrand since 2003 with a break for court service at the Mölndal District Court. She specialises in environmental and energy law with a specific focus on expert know-how in matters concerning energy plants and climate-related liability issues. Ann Schröder, 38, works primarily with insolvency, banking and finance and corporate law. She started work at Wistrand in 2000 following her court service at the District Court of Göteborg. She also has international experience from work at law firms in Hong Kong and England.
Lars Gahnström, 40, has worked at Wistrand for two years. He specialises in real estate including transactions, rental issues, projects and real estate formation. He previously worked at Mannheimer Swartling and the Swedish Export Agency.
During 2002, Tove Andersson has been based at Wistrand’s Stockholm office, but all three work primarily from Wistrand’s Göteborg office.
