Wistrand advises the seller in connection with SEB Private Equity’s investment in Sesol AB

SEB Private Equity has acquired a minority post in Sesol AB (“Sesol”) and Wistrand has advised the seller in connection with the investment.

Sesol is one of Sweden’s fastest growing solar cell companies and is a turnkey supplier of photovoltaic systems. Sesol was established in 2019 and during 2021 Sesol had a revenue of approximately SEK 235 million. Sesol has approximately 400 employees.

SEB Private Equity invests on behalf of financial institutions with focus on investments in attractive small and mid-sized companies in the Nordic countries with sustainable business models.

Wistrand’s team has mainly consisted of responsible partner Johannes Wårdman, senior associate Jeanette Jönsson (M&A), associate Simon Thungren (M&A) and senior associate Justus Pettersson (tax). Swedbank has acted as financial advisor to the seller.
