Wistrand advises SBB on its sale of public office buildings for SEK 4,892m and on the acquisition of project property in Gothenburg for SEK 400m

Wistrand Advokatbyrå has advised Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (“SBB”) on its sale of a large public office buildings portfolio to Nyfosa AB.
The 38 properties included in the transaction comprise a total of approx. 303,000 sq.m of mainly office space. The rental income amounts to approximately SEK 402m. WAULT is 2.3 years. The agreed property value is SEK 4,892m. which corresponds to the latest valuation.
The portfolio comprises properties located in Arboga, Borlänge, Eskilstuna, Göteborg, Karlskrona, Kristianstad, Kristinehamn, Köping, Luleå, Malmö, Motala, Skellefteå, Sollentuna, Uddevalla, Upplands Väsby, Uppsala, Värnamo, Kungsängen Västerås and Örebro.
The transaction is conditional upon the buyer aquiring necessary bank financing and approval from the Swedish Competition Authority. The financing condition must be resolved no later than 30 June 2020. Closing is scheduled for 15 July 2020 but may be postponed to 17 August 2020.
Furthermore, SBB acquires the project property Gamlestaden 2:8 in Gothenburg for SEK 400m.
