Wistrand advises on the sale of Kitab Sawti to Storytel
Wistrand has advised Kitab Sawti AB and its founders on the sale of all shares in Kitab Sawti, which is a leading service for streaming and production of audio books in Arabic, to the audio book specialist Storytel.
Kitab Sawti was founded in 2016 by Sebastian Bond and Anton Pollak and has a catalogue of more than 2,500 audio book titles which comprises more a large part of the best sellers in the Arabic speaking region. The purchase price was paid partly in shares and partly through a share issue in Storytel.
Wistrand’s team consisted of Robert Kullgren, Erik Hygrell, Elisabeth Salmgren von Schantz and Karolina Carlsson.
