Erik Hygrell is a partner in CMS Wistrand’s practice group Corporate & Commercial and specializes in corporate law. He assists Swedish and international clients with corporate law advice in connection with equity capital investments, shareholder and investment agreements, incentive programs, general meetings, board and management work and other corporate governance related issues. In addition, Erik advises on a broad range of contractual issues.

With more than 25 years of experience, he has extensive experience in advising domestic and international clients on corporate governance and group structuring issues, including company reorganisations as well as other matters with a specific focus on company law and contractual aspects.

Erik Hygrell notably leads matters involving complex company law aspects of general meetings and board matters, reorganisations, etc. in both private and public (listed) companies.

He is part of the German Desk of CMS Wistrand, and has a long history of working closely with clients from Germany and other parts of the DACH region.

Erik Hygrell holds a master’s degree (LL.M.) from a German university and joined Wistrand in 2002 after previous work with another Swedish law firm, including a long-term secondment with a law firm in Germany.
